Rich has taken the new advertising mock ups and the website homepage mock up and created a video to complement. The video has been very successful in capturing the tone and feel that we wanted to project. A few points that was noted after running through it several times are on the whole just touch ups:
– could be slightly slowed down so that the view can read and absorb clearly.
– a freeze on the ending logo.
– spelling mistake on the web page needs to be altered.
– voice over maybe appropriate.

James created new designs along the same theme which fit our specifications excellently. The only text that needs to be added is “1 in 155 do”.
Our other issue that is surrounding this is that the stock images used in these mock ups are not free. We therefore have two options, 1) contact the original photographer and ask for a donation of the images or a discount. Or 2) find images that are free.
The first option would be our favourite as we believe the images are an excellent match for what we would like.

After some discussion and review the original mock ups are a little too wordy to be a successful advertising image. However, the basic concept seems to be working well.

To get a visual idea and reference as to the direction we are looking for I designed four quick mock ups. Each image had a particular target market: 35-60 male, 35-60 female, 18-34 male and 18-34 female. ‘Thought’ words were placed around each of the figures heads stating a few positive and negative factors relating to that example character. This is to try and relate with the target markets a little better. The stock images that were found we’re not really ideal as such, they did not exactly fit the profiles we were aiming for. However, they do show the ‘normality’ element that we was looking for.
